Leadership Definition

Optimal leadership is the ability to inspire people to do things they otherwise would not do and/or to do more of those things than they otherwise would; to inspire people to do those things in accordance with established, positive values and purposes, within existing laws and regulations. and according to positive morals and ethical standards; and to lead them toward the organizational vision, in accordance with the organizational mission and purpose, and in the pursuit of positive organizational goals and objectives. The most effective leaders increase collective productivity by encouraging individual initiative, creativity, and responsibility and by harnessing those efforts by building teams and inspiring teamwork.”
